Tonni Blount

tonni-blountTonni is a unit leader and the recreation coordinator. She is a junior at Emory University double majoring in biology and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. Tonni plans to pursue a career in public health and is especially interested in reducing the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the African American community. In her free time, Tonni serves as the secretary for Emory University’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the president of her university’s club soccer team. She also tutors reading and math in Atlanta’s elementary schools. Tonni was a Nebraska delegate in 2010.
