Desiree received a Master’s in Chemistry from Indiana University, a B.S. in Chemistry, and a B.A. in Seience Education from the University of Wyoming. While in school, she received the National Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, was the four-time UW Chemistry Department Student of the Year, and was the president of the club volleyball team. She currently teaches biology, chemistry, and environmental science and coaches the volleyball team at Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro, Virginia. Desiree’s hobbies include reading and playing beach volleyball. She was a Wyoming delegate to the NYSC in 2001 and will be serving her eleventh year as a staff member.
