Directed Study Topic: Origami and Mathematics
This course will examine a number of mathematical ideas, including the Euler characteristic, fractional dimension, linking number and more. Along the way delegates will explore how business cards, small, sturdy and widely dispensed for free, can be transformed into beautiful and interesting geometric objects.
Participants may keep any origami models they make during the course.
